Underwriting Manager
Michele has over 20 years of experience in Insurance, and in 2024, has joined NRI as Underwriting Manager. Michelespecialises in negotiating and underwriting specialty insurance policies, like Nuclear and Space, and identifying growth opportunities for the business.
Prior to joining NRI, Michele was a Class Underwriter at Brit Syndicates in London for specialty insurance, working exclusively with Nuclear and Space classes. Michele has a passion for productising , such as shaping business models, developing branding and marketing strategies, and designing for emerging technologies. With a strong engineering background, he has created and fostered relationships across operations, manufacturing, and business, and takes it upon himself to lead on trainings and best practice for the industry.
In his spare time, Michele enjoys sailing, as well as mountaineering and free diving.
